BeSkilled America is a workforce readiness and digital literacy initiative preparing emerging talent for AI-driven, technology-rich careers. We focus on practical skills, real-world projects, and clear pathways into high-demand jobs for students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals.

BeSkilled America helps people build the skills, mindset, and portfolio needed to thrive in the age of AI and automation. We connect learning to earning through hands-on experiences, industry-informed curriculum, and community partnerships that open doors to opportunity.

BeSkilled America is designed for:

  • College students and recent graduates looking to reskill or upskill

Programs are U.S.-based and prioritize underserved and underrepresented communities in technology and the future of work.

BeSkilled America offers flexible, stackable programs that meet learners where they are:

  • AI & Digital Literacy Labs – Foundations of AI, prompt skills, data awareness, digital citizenship, cybersecurity basics

  • Future of Work & Career Readiness – Resumes and LinkedIn, interviewing, personal brand, entrepreneurship, creator and gig-economy skills

  • Industry Pathways – Themed tracks aligned with high-growth sectors such as autonomous vehicles, tech support, customer success, and content/media production

  • Community & Civic Innovation – Projects that apply AI and technology to real challenges facing schools, cities, nonprofits, and small businesses

Programs can run as short sprints or cohort-based experiences, each anchored by a capstone project.

At BeSkilled America, learning is active, applied, and collaborative. Participants:

  • Use AI and digital tools to design solutions to real problems

  • Build a portfolio of work: digital resumes, presentations, videos, prototypes, and simple automations

  • Work in teams on challenges sourced from employers and community partners

  • Join workshops, talks, and office hours with mentors and industry experts

Example: A cohort might design a micro-campaign for a local business, using AI to generate copy, visuals, and basic customer-response workflows.

Instruction is delivered by a blend of educators and practitioners, including:

  • Industry professionals working in AI, technology, media, and future-of-work roles

  • Experienced educators and workforce trainers skilled in project-based learning

  • Guest speakers, mentors, and judges from partner companies, community organizations, and public agencies

Participants learn directly from people doing the work they aspire to do.

Every BeSkilled experience is designed to deliver tangible outcomes:

  • A portfolio of real projects you can show to employers, schools, and collaborators

  • A growing network of peers, mentors, and employers

  • Guidance into jobs, internships, apprenticeships, certifications, or further education

Programs may also include certificates of completion and digital badges you can share on platforms like LinkedIn.

BeSkilled America is built to be accessible:

  • Many programs are free or low-cost to participants, supported by partnerships, sponsorships, and grants

  • Any fees for advanced tracks or add-on services (such as certification exams or extended coaching) are clearly communicated up front

  • Schools, community organizations, and employers can partner with BeSkilled America to sponsor seats for their learners or staff
